Army Reserve Family Programs now has a Child and Youth Service (CYS) program manager and nine regional CYS coordinators who address Army Reserve child care, youth development and school transition through community-based programs. Operation Military Childcare is a Department of Defense (DoD) initiative to support the child care needs of parents who are mobilized/deployed in support of the Global War on Terrorism. Helps eligible family locate local child care options and may reduce child care fees of of eligible families.
